Meyer Lemon Squares

Makes 25 squares
Ingredients:
For base
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
For the top
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 tablespoons Meyer Lemon juice
For base, combine flour, sugar, and butter.
Mix well. Press into a greased and floured 8"X8" square pan.
Bake at 325F. for 20 minutes or until golden.
For the top, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the eggs. Stir in the Meyer Lemon juice.
Mix well. Pour over the base.
Bake at 325F. for 20-25 minutes, or until done.
Cool in pan.
